Vikki O'Connor

 

Vikki is a Solo living and working in Night City. She grew up with Corporate parents who traveled with a Nomad pack as part of their job. Unfortunately, the Corp her parents worked for was seized by a rival corp in a hostile takeover, its assets sold off and its employees fired. Her family never recovered. Her father left to seek work in another part and never returned and her mother lost herself in fantasy.

As she searched for her own way off the streets, she developed the skills of an assassin and found that she loved the powerful feelings it gave her. She loves the work, but her end goal is to get off the streets and she'll do anything to accomplish that goal.

Her childhood friend, Tamiko, checks in on her frequently and serves Vikki as a moral compass, though Tamiko's calls have become less frequents since Tamiko started seeing one of Vikki's rivals, Jason. Jason is a corporate exec who smeared Vikki's reputation the year before and cost her plenty of work. Vikki has sworn to end him, if she sees him again.

Vikki has no shortage of enemies, the greatest of which is Marnie Todd, an executive for Danger Girl. They worked a job together, and Vikki threw Marnie under the bus when things went bad, costing the exec an arm. Marnie has sworn to tear Vikki apart if she ever sees her again, using all of her considerable resources. 

Vikki's third and final enemy is Nathan, a local lawman she's worked with in the past. They were paired up by an employer and each took an instant dislike to the other. She relishes the thought of stabbing him in the back, should she ever come across him again.
